Let it be known that on this Day, Oct. 31, XXXIV Annos Satanas, Church of Satan founder, Anton LaVey’s eldest daughter Karla LaVey has founded the “First Satanic Church.” After two years of mourning, legal entanglements, and rumors, High Priestess LaVey has returned to continue where her father left off, vowing to take Satanism into the twenty-first Century.
Ms. LaVey was a founding member of the Church of Satan, and throughout her life has always stood beside her father supporting him both personally and publicly. Lecturing at numerous universities, law enforcement agencies, and other organizations both civic and private Ms. LaVey has been considered an expert on Satanism, Witchcraft and the Occult. Over the last thirty years she has consistently been the subject of many radio & television interviews as well as international magazine and newspaper articles.
“First Satanic Church” comes from the original name of the Church of Satan before it was officially renamed in 1966 by the late Dr. LaVey. Supporting Ms. LaVey and the “First Satanic Church” are many of Dr. LaVey’s closest friends and associates who have stood beside her during the mourning of Dr. LaVey.
While the “First Satanic Church” holds the same ideals of Dr. LaVey as written in his various books including The Satanic Bible, membership in the church will not be an open one. This method has been tested and proven to be counterproductive, instead applicants will be carefully screened to ensure the highest level of quality within the church.
